Country Club Hills Gazelles Track Team is a non-profit (501c3) character building organization seeking to positively impact the lives of the youth ages 8 through 18 in Country Club Hills and the surrounding areas. Our greatest challenge is to assist our young participants in preparing for their futures by exposing them to credible role models, positive learning experiences and team work. As a track team dedicated to youth, we strive to impart in our youth: character, self-esteem, confidence, and mutual respect for others, with an emphasis on academic achievement and good sportsmanship. ***************************************************************** **************************************************************Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. The moral: It doesn't matter if you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better be running.
